Re: Some advice for a greenhorn.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It is a bare chassis, but does have the bolt in seat frame and steering shaft, just no aluminum, axles, spindles, tie rods , most anything that could be robbed. I have an axle, bearings, and hubs the gentleman would like to trade for and a 16 hour round trip dri...

Some advice for a greenhorn.

I was hoping I could get some feed back on the value of a bare kart frame. I have the an opportunity to pickup a Bug stinger bare chassis(no belly pan, seat, axles, spindles, etc). They are interested in trading for some parts.. It would be about $175 to replace 'em. I would be into it about 375ish ...

Re: red devil sprinter

Boy oh Boy...... I have wanted one of them since the mid 70's. Mr Philips who had the local track had one...... It was sooo cool to a 10 year old kid... so diffrent from the Puttnik we have... I can still remeber it sitting in his garage. It was red and rear engined. and looked like it would do 1000...

Re: MC10 block and head

Dave, Thank You for the info. I have been reading everything I could find here and other places on the mc10. as you suggest. I appreciate your response. It confirmed a couple things I ahd in my notes and gave me way more than I had gathered. I have parts list strewn all over the dinner table and pag...

Re: MC10 block and head

I plan on building it myself. I've lined up most every thing from some old stock in the area. I will have to build a couple of gaskets. I've held off on the piston till I find a block that is usable. Mine is .010 now with a gouge that will not clean safely....maybe if I can find a .060 piston which ...

Re: MC10 block and head

I had not thought about the purist angle. I can not afford to be a purist. I would be happy with pieces from the 1-70 or 1-80 saw motors. It will be up to those who are sorting thru my junk after I die to try to sell it. I am looking to build a reliable stocker not a modified. sorry about the confus...

MC10 block and head

I am in need of a block, head and con rod for for an MC-10. If anyone may have a spare or a line on one that they would share, that would be great. The most important item is the block. I can make do with the head and rod if I have too. Please feel free to email me at gma2c@live.com.

Thank You.

Fat old guy trying to regain his youth..

Hello guys. I'm a newbie here. I have what I believed was a Putt-nik Phantom. I was not very sure till I saw the u-tube video on the home page. I said dang thats the kart... Yep, all the way up here in Missoula Montana. It is running a Mc-10. Or I should say until my brother and I blew it up in our ...
