...brings a whole new perspective to the term Breakin Loose!
Look closely at both rear tires breakin loose and spinning starting at the 0:43 mark in the video, this portion was shot at 600fps. Jeff

Great shots Jeff. I always liked testing and this gives me a lot if ideas. I don't know what Bill weighs but would be interested in a 30lb lighter driver. NOT TO START ANYTHING but I would also like to test it back to back with "skinny hard tires" and watch it again to compair it. JUST CUZ I WONDER ABOUT THINGS LIKE THIS. I'm sick in the head that way !

Comparing driver weight, Bill is probably at the lighter end of scale. FYI - the tires he had on the back were the Vintage Speed tires, which seems to be a good balance between grip and slip. I do have similar video footage that I am putting together of George Sellon driving his Dual Rear Chaparral through the same turn. George is a heavier driver and he was running the harder Carlisle Super Slicks, that should be an interesting comparison.

Smokin'! Reminds me of the 8mm films which I shot of the C class races at the '65 IKF Nationals at Brodhead where we ran A Mod Heavy. Had the pleasure of meeting Bill on Sunday (8-12-12) at the Badger Kart Club vintage races at Dousman, WI. Bill smoked there as well.
