I went to bid on an item from ebay and when I tried to sign on a posting popped up and wanted all of my personal information. They wanted my name, dob, SS#, mothers maiden name, credit card number, expiration date, card cvv2 #, then they wanted my credit card PIN#. hmmmmm that doesn't sound right so I check on my PayPal account and they wanted the same info. I tried to contact Ebay to verify this but I don't understand there information.
What I need to know has anyone else run across this.

SPAM IS WHAT YOU HAVE
It's a phishing program from theives.
give no info at all ebay never asks for that stuff.
i'm gonna call you asap to be sure you know this.
ebay has had bad leaks before but good rule of thumb is no personal info given to pop up windows.
was it me i'd check for viruses on your computer.
