unknown engine
OK all you 2-stroke gearheads, I've got one for ya. I found a 2-stroke, opposed twin the other day and I can't find any name on it. It's got a Tilly carb that looks like it has a float bowl on it. I only got the bottom half of the flywheel cover and I suspect the top half may have been marked. What I'm wondering is what it is and is it good for anything vintage kart related. I've posted some pics on 4-cycle.com in the Kart Gallery under zztrucker. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Re: unknown engine
Sounds like it might be an old McCulloch Drone engine.

Re: unknown engine
The question now becomes; Is it good for anything related to karting or should I put it on e-bay as a vintage engine and see what I can get for it?

Re: unknown engine
Yeah, I've been trying to get back to the garage sale I picked up the engine at and see if the rest of it is still there somewhere. So far I haven't been able to get there.
