Hey guys,
Do scale models of vintage karts exist? i know there are a few racing kart models out there but nothing proper vintage. Just curious.

Plastic, die cast, stamped steel? There is a Hawk Fox Go Boy Kart plastic model. There is a sears kart plstic model. There are many others. One is a tin model that is battery powered and the wheels light up.

I remember seeing some of them in old catalogs. Far a current mfg of ancient models, not so far.

I also remember seeing one re-re-re-re-re-re-run episode in recent years, which is all I could stand to watch, of Make Room for Daddy, aka The Danny Thomas Show. This particular episode was around 1961. In Rustys bedroom, sitting on a shelf was a current model kart about one foot long. From what I could make of it was fairly detailed and likely make from metal. It might have even been gas powered.

If someone wanted to binge watch a bunch of these, should find that model in his bedroom for several episodes. I just dont have the stomach for it.

This is the only one I have seen. But I figured from 1960-61 it should have been a hot item to go under the Christmas tree for kids.

The model looks great, I must have missed that year. Hope everything is good.
