Hegar mount with manifold?

Hegar mount with Mac carb manifold, I remember seeing one of these before and talking about it with some other karters. Nobody was sure if Hegar made the manifold which has the dove tail mounting features that work with the Hegar mount system. Does anyone know the history on this cool part?
