Caretta and McCulloch chassis

First one is most of a late 50's or very early 60's Caretta brand Kart! The front axle, spindles, steering and the gas and brake pedals are a dead give away. The rear half is questionable and has had some amature welding done on it with goober welds (motor plate is not original). This car originally had a flip up motor mount and the bracket is still welded on the frame. This kart is pretty rough to be restored, but it has lot's of cool parts like the big rear bendix brake, complete steering, nice rear axle, ect. $165. Second one is a scarce McCulloch brand. McCulloch built karts from 1960 to 1963 and they were very expensive at the time. Check out the original pedals with the "McC" logo. It also has had a crappy motor mount welded on, but it still has both of the dual mounts also. $200. Wheels and tires on both karts are junk. Thanks . k-magee@sbcglobal.net
