SOLD - For Sale: ‘62 Caretta

I hate to part with this, but I’m slowly losing my eye-site and this needs to find a good home before I am unable to pass it on.
Here is a very nice dual drive Caretta kart built by Art Ingles himself! I was told this a '62 but don't know the year for sure. It has a 6" brake and much huskier R-hubs than a ‘61. It also has a factory engine mount on each side. The overall condition is VERY NICE original. One of the main rails has been rewelded to the rear axle, and should be dressed out a bit on restoration. A couple extra holes have been drilled for the Nassau-panel. The upholstery has to be restitched on the top of the seat back. It has a very nice set of aluminum Go-Powers. Included are the right & left louvered side seat panels. ID tag is missing, as is the gas tank. A very nice RARE kart!
Asking $3,000 or make me an offer.
I have more photos and will try to answer any questions you may have.
