New Billet CNC R-1 McCulloch brake hub rotor

Not mine and not related

Not sure if not having a 1 inch steel sleeve is going to be an issue or not.

What was the original construction technique, did it have a sleeve ? Almost would think this is a failure waiting to happen.

I believe it was a cast in steel boss, like they do for the McCulloch rear wheels.......maybe a 1/4" keystock made of brass or aluminum could stand in for that steel insert?
