Vintage Kart Shop

Post by Jacob Jay » Mon Dec 20, 2010 6:55 pm

Hey guys-

Does anyone know if Robbin Loomis is still in business? The last three times I've tried to go to his site, my anti-virus program aborts the connection and says that the web address (http://www.vintagekartshop.com) is trying to infect my machine with malware. I know he's posted here before but maybe he's dropped out of this business... thanks!

I just went to that site and spent about 10 minutes browsing and had no issues. Maybe your anti-virus program is reacting to that site for some reason. Have you gone to that site before?

My anti stinkware won't let me in the site either. Robbin's still doing business; I recently bought some small pieces from him. It's gotta be at our end! TJ

Had to change a setting on my norton to open web page. I still can't buy anything. When I try to sign in it returns me to home page. Tried to e-mail and there web page changes my e-mail address and says invaild e-mail. Wish I had a phone number to call.

I've gotten the warning in the past and I just tried that link again. AVG blocked it saying it contained malware. I've had good luck with AVG as my anti virus program. It has saved me from bad sites numerous times. The vintage sales site may be OK, but I'm not brave enough to disable my anti virus program and to try loading that site.

"NORTON"???? That was Ralph Cramden's next door neighbor!!
Macafee and norton should both be outlawed!

AVG is the best I have used and believe me....I have searched a few.

I've found that AVAST is even a cut above AVG.

A year or so ago they had a problem on that website with high jacked e mail addresses /spam ect. I wonder if Robbin put some kind of software on there that is causing the probs . I have been on there seveal times recentlyand haven t had a prob.

I agree with Russ. My computer guru asked me to try Avast. It's even more agressive than AVG which I used to use-it misses nothing. That's most likely why I can't enter Robbin's site. TJ
