Oops! ...yellow and black. I have those colors.
Was there a model or year that produced a dark red and yellow two tone?

No. Not that I am aware of. The 91m/c was Red inner with white outer I think. Ron

I've got one with the red and one with the yellow, both carry 91 m/c decals. TL

My motors are red and white, decal 91 m/c, and yellow and white, 91 m/c decal, both have ball bearings on pto side, both have screw in plug for comp release, one has LH threaded pto crank, one has RH threaded pto crank as opposed to the straight 3/4 crankshafts. So maybe someone put a yellow cover on one and then the 91 m/c decal and changed the cranks. TL

Tom,

Do both of your motors have the threaded plug on the side of the cylinder above the intake manifold? All 91M/Cs had the plug to fill the hole for the compression release. If there is no plug and the motor has a typical aluminum head gasket then you have a 93 block, if the head gasket is a copper ring then you have a 92 block.

Steve, yes both of my 91 m/c's have the plug for the comp release and as I said one is red, one yellow, both carry the 91 m/c decal. TL
