Warning: spinning_webs skipping town

Post by Gordon Duax » Tue Nov 06, 2007 1:49 pm

Beware!
All of you that eBay seller spinning_webs (Zoe Chugg) owes parts or refunds to, had better get with it to resolve the situation.
They look to be skipping town.

All auctions are ending today.
I have received the following eBay message from Zoe in response to me asking where my parts are from a 6 week old purchase:

Hi, I am so sorry for the poor business ethics, all your parts will be at your door by next week. And I will no longer be listing any auctions, I will not sell any more parts after Nov. 6. so if you need parts should get them now. I will give you a discount off your next auction. Thanks!

To me, this looks like a last ditch effort to get a few more money orders out of us suckers !
And as the norm, here it is a week later, no parts, no refund.
I just talked to Paypal, and they have had no response to my 2 claims either.

The other 2 people here in San Antonio that also have claims against her, are getting no replies or parts.

So,
If she owes you parts or money, better act now.
If you sent a money order, good luck !

By the way,
local law enforcement (here, your town, or in Henderson, NV)
could not care less about internet fraud for a few hundred dollars.
The only way they will prosecute a case like this is if a complaint with multiple names attached is filed.
I will be starting a file on everyone who has been had by this operation, for just that reason.
If you have been scammed, send your story,
with all relevant info
(auction numbers, amount, payment method, date, your contact info, etc.),
To me at duaxmachine@sbcglobal.net .
I will start a file on them for the purpose of pressing charges.
Good Luck !

People have warned against buying from these people time after time over the last few years. Keeping up with them changing there names ect ect ect. But it seems other people have to learn for themselves. So hear we go again maybe some will buy from them when they come back under another name. :? :? :? :? :? :? :? Ron

Yeah, and with every e-excuse she sends me I get the same "I'm not going to sell any more.....".
Paypal sided with me on 11/11, and refunded both my payments.
Then I received a box from her on 11/14 for most of what I ordered.
Including 3 items that she said she had shipped on 10/8.
USPS says it shipped 11/10.........
I should have waited 4 weeks to pay her for the stuff, but I don't live that way,
so I sent her Paypal for the items she did manage to get out finally.
Sure wish someone else could get their hands on that inventory.
But I have seen this before, someone defaults on storage fees,
and the stuff ends up at a local scrap yard, or the city land fill.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PERSON. It took 6 wks to get items I paid for, this was after constant badgering by me and excuses from her. When I finially did receive the items they were postmarked two weeks after she said she shipped them. I think if they don't get the price they expect, they just ignore you and hope you will give up.

Exactly!
The days prior to her finally shipping,
I contacted here through each of the auctions that she owed me,
and through several of here currant listings,
each and every day !!

I think she finally got tired of me jamming her e-mail,
and decided to ship the stuff.

Here is her cell phone number. Call her. 702-219-0923. She has stiffed me many times. Ebay says to call her also.
